Lewis Hamilton optimistic about the F1 2019 season

Formula One champions, Mercedes Benz ran their new car for the first time today, at Silverstone with title holder, Lewis Hamilton reiterating that the 2019 season will be a lot better than last year.

Mercedes Benz delivered their new car on schedule as others are still struggling ahead of the start of the pre-season testing next week Monday.

Hamilton said, “I completely switched off from racing for a while, trying to focus and re-center myself and training hard for the new season. 2018 was a great year, but I feel like 2019 can be even better. I want to achieve more, I want to continue to keep pushing. I feel energized and I’m ready to attack.”

The Brit won eleven races in 2018 and is only 18 races away from equaling Michael Schumacher’s record of 91.

Hamilton has also won 51 of the 100 Grand Prix in the V6 turbo era that commenced in 2014 and four of the last five championships.
