Deontay Wilder says bout with Anthony Joshua will be easier

World Heavyweight Champion, Deontay Wilder has asserted that his bout with Anthony Joshua will be easy when it eventually comes to fruition because of the way and manner he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr.

Mr. Wilder believes that the reason why Anthony Joshua against Andy Ruiz Jr is because he lacks confidence and isn’t mentally resilient.

The Brit was dropped four times by the Mexican boxer in his debut fight in the United States and the fight was eventually stopped in the seventh round.

Anthony Joshua lost his three heavyweight titles and his untainted record during the fight at the Madison Square Garden and Wilder believes because of the loss, a fight with Joshua will be less cumbersome.

“I’ve been saying it for a while, Joshua’s mindset is not strong. He’s not that strong, he doesn’t have confidence in himself. You look at his back story and he says he started lifting weights because he didn’t have confidence in himself. He had low self-esteem” said Wilder.

Anthony Joshua will have a rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. at the end of the year in Cardiff to regain his belts, and Deontay Wilder believes he will lose the rematch.
