Usain Bolt has always made it clear that the 2017 season will be his final but insist he may still keep running even after the 2017 World Championships. He’s yet to make up his mind on what he’s doing yet. Right now, he’s focused on getting through with the season.
Bolt, 30 will be making his final appearance in the 4×100 relay final on August 12. He’s the first man in Olympic history to successfully defend his 100m and 200m races respectively in record times and he has twice successfully defended the sprint titles he won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The Jamaican has had a fantastic career spanning a decade in top flight athletics. He would be running at the Ostrava Golden Spike on Wednesday and he believes the last two major races will be his for grabs even though he has attested to the fact that it will be emotionally laden.
