Tiger Woods wins the 2019 Golf Masters in Augusta

Tiger Woods made history today by winning his fifth jacket at the 2019 Golf Masters in Augusta, Georgia a move that is arguably one of the greatest comebacks in sport.

Two years ago in Augusta, he told the press that he was done with Golf. Last year, 2018, he said he was just pleased to there. Then today, the now 15-times champion clinched the win to end the 11-year drought.

Tiger Woods played in the final group alongside Francesco Molinari and Tony Finau – groups sent out in threes at an earlier time due to thunderstorms forecast for the afternoon in Georgia.

Butch Harmon, Tiger Woods former coach said after the tourney,  “I’ve never seen him show emotion like that. At any time, anywhere, any time in his life. He got himself help, he got his body right, he got his head right and he went to work on his game. I couldn’t be happier for him and his family.”
