England international, Phil Jones is the latest player to commit his future to the Old Trafford club. He has signed a new deal that will keep him with Manchester United till 2023.
The defender is the third player to extend a deal under caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Earlier, Anthony Martial and Scott Tominay signed to extend their stay with Manchester United.
Phill Jones who joined Manchester United from Blackburn Rovers told the club website, “I am delighted to have signed a new contract. Manchester United has been a big part of my life for eight years and I love everything about this club.”
“I am excited about the challenges that lie ahead of us as we prepare for a very busy period in the season. I would like to thank Ole and the coaching staff for their continued support in my development.”
Phil Jones has had 208 caps so far for Manchester United.
