Nigerian striker, Asisat Oshoala heads to Barcelona on loan

Super Falcons of Nigeria forward, Asisat Oshoala has signed for Barcelona on a short term loan till the end of the current season.

The 24-year old, a three-time African Footballer of the Year, said she’s excited about joining “one of the best clubs in the world. The team has a great history and a wonderful football mentality.

I am excited about playing with Vicky Losada again. She’s a great midfielder, with a lot of energy and skill. I also met Fabiana in China and she helped me to make this decision.”

Asisat has played for Arsenal and Liverpool ladies and arrived the Chinese league in 2017 with a bang, helping her club side, Dalian Quanjian win the league in her first year.
