FC Barcelona say Ousmane Dembele surgery a success

Ousmane Dembele successfully underwent a surgery in Finland today to repair his ruptured tendon after injuring his left leg in a Spanish League game and is expected to return back to action in a little over a hundred days now. The surgery was done by the specialist, Dr. Saraki Orava and Dembele was accompanied by Barcelona Doctor, Ricard Pruna.

The Frenchman was injured on Saturday in the 2 -1 win at Getafe. In July, he became the second most expensive player in soccer history and Barcelona’s most expensive signing when he was signed to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in a fee reported in the region od US$180 million. He has so far played three times for Barcelona and was the replacement for Neymar after the Brazilian moved to PSG in a world-record transfer.
