Juventus sign Fiorentina forward, Federico Bernardeschi

Turin club side, Juventus have signed Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina for a fee of US$45.8 million. The 23-year old Tuscan scored 11 goals last season and will be arriving Juventus with a reputation of scoring spectacular goals and also creating wonderful goal-scoring opportunities as demonstrated in his two seasons at the Florence based club.

He signed a five-year contract that will see him stay at the club till 2022. He will join his new teammates in the United States for the ongoing International Champions Cup. Juventus management was quick to shower praises on the young lad saying, “Bernardeschi is one of those players that will make Juventus fans rise from their seats when he collects the ball in the final third.”

Bernardeschi told the club’s official website: “It’s very emotional and I’ve got to thank everybody because there were a lot of people here to welcome me, making me feel their affection and I would want to thank them.”
