Aleksandar Kolarov joins AS Roma in a three-year deal

Serbia fullback, Aleksandar Kolarov has signed a three-year deal with AS Roma worth about £4.5 million. In 2010, he moved from Lazio to Manchester City for £16 million where he won two League Cups, two Premier League titles, and an FA Cup in his seven-year sojourn at the club and played a total of 247 games.

The 31-year old said, “I am extremely happy to be here. I will give 100% and more for Roma. My objective is always the same: to win. When I came in 2010, honestly, I didn’t expect to play so long. Today is the day I have to say goodbye. For me, it’s a very sad day. I am proud that I was part of making City the club that it is.”
