Former Chelsea skipper, John Terry is now the captain of Championship side, Aston Villa. He made his debut in a pre-season friendly against Shrewsbury at New Meadow. Terry didn’t score in the match but was the highlight of the entire encounter. Aston Villa lost 2 – 1 to Shrewsbury.
He signed a one-year contract with the Villans with a £2 million bonus if he takes the club back to the Premier League after being away for two years.
