Dominic Solanke moves to Liverpool

Dominic Solanke has completed his transfer to the Merseyside after his contract with Chelsea expired. The 19-year old joined Chelsea’s youth academy since 2004 and was part of the victorious England squad that won Gold at the FIFA U-20 World Cup a few weeks ago and he was also named Player of the Tournament. The England youth international just played a match for Chelsea in 2014 before he was loaned to Vitesse Arnhem in The Netherlands.

Liverpool didn’t give specificities about the terms of his contract but the elated youngster said “It feels amazing and everyone has made me feel welcome already. Even just pulling on the training top, I was over the moon. Hopefully, I can put on the shirt in the near future and make some good history here.”
