Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Carlos Casemiro from Real Madrid in a £70m deal (an initial £60m, plus £10m in add-ons). The Brazilian penned down a four-year contract with the English side with the option of a further twelve months at Old Trafford.
At his final press conference at Real Madrid, Casemiro insisted his move to Manchester United was not motivated by money. He said, “if it was about money I would have left four or five years ago, those people who think that are wrong, they don’t know me at all. The club has always treated me very well. It’s my decision, my path.”
