British and Mercedes Benz car-racer, Lewis Hamilton celebrated his 200th Formula 1 race on Sunday with a pole-flag Belgian Grand Prix win that halved Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel’s championship lead to just seven points. With this win, Hamilton has five wins in 12 races and it came a day after he equaled Michael Schumacher’s all-time record of 68 pole positions.

Sebastian Vettel finished second for Ferrari, about 2.3 seconds behind, after making a strong start to the race but tailed Lewis Hamilton all afternoon long without getting close enough to snatch a win from him. Daniel Ricciardo took the third position for Red Bull. With eight more races remaining to the end of this cycle, Vettel has 220 points while Hamilton has 213.
