Man United thrash Swansea to register an emphatic second win
Manchester United had an emphatic second win in the Barclays Premier League by whitewashing Swansea, 4 – 0. Eric Bailly opened scoring for United on the stroke of half-time with with Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial all scoring again.
The Red Devils have scored eight goals in two games, conceding none in the process. United are geared to challenge for the title this season. The only time Swansea seriously threatened United was in the third minute when Jordan Ayew broke clear thanks to a fortunate ricochet, cut into the area and curled an attempted cross with the outside of his right foot against the crossbar.
